Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using HireAstra (“the Platform”, “we”, “us”, “our”), you (“User”, “Candidate”) agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

HireAstra is a technology service that assists candidates in preparing and submitting job applications. We do not act as a recruiter, employment agency, staffing firm, immigration advisor, or legal representative.

2. Geographic Service Area

HireAstra is available to users worldwide but exclusively facilitates job applications for positions located in the United States and Canada. We do not support applications to roles outside these two countries.

Users are solely responsible for confirming that the roles they apply for are legally available to them, ensuring they meet the geographic, legal, and immigration requirements of each position, and verifying that any job listings are valid and current.

3. Work Authorization & Immigration Disclaimer

HireAstra does not verify, assess, advise on, or assume any responsibility for any user’s work authorization status, residency status, visa eligibility, immigration standing, or legal right to work in the United States or Canada.

By using HireAstra, you expressly acknowledge and agree that:

  1. You are solely responsible for accurately representing your legal right to work in the roles you apply for.
  2. HireAstra is not an immigration advisor and does not provide immigration advice of any kind.
  3. Submitting an application for a role for which you are not legally authorized is solely your responsibility and liability.
  4. HireAstra shall not be held liable for consequences arising from misrepresentation of work authorization status.
  5. Any work status information you provide is self-declared and not verified by HireAstra.

4. No Employment Guarantee

HireAstra is a job application assistance tool. We make no warranty or guarantee that use of the Platform will result in job interviews, offers, or employment; that tailored resumes will pass any specific ATS or review process; or that any matched roles will be available or suited to your qualifications.

5. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

HireAstra uses artificial intelligence to tailor resumes and surface job matches. You acknowledge that AI-generated content is a starting point — you are responsible for reviewing all content before submission. You must not submit content that contains false or fabricated information about your experience, skills, or qualifications.

You own your application. Review it before it goes out.

6. User Responsibilities & Prohibited Conduct

Users agree not to provide false information in their profile or work authorization declarations; apply for roles they are not legally eligible for; attempt to circumvent application limits or billing systems; use automated scripts or bots; or upload illegal or infringing content. Violation may result in immediate account suspension without refund.

7. Subscription & Billing Terms

One-Off Plan: Grants 10 application credits for a single one-time payment. Credits do not expire but are non-transferable and non-refundable once purchased. No recurring billing.

Monthly Subscription Plans: Billed monthly. Can be cancelled at any time from Account Settings. Cancellation takes effect at end of the current billing period — access continues until then. No partial-month refunds.

General: All prices are in USD unless otherwise stated. HireAstra uses third-party payment processors and does not store full payment card details.

8. Data Retention & Privacy

Your data is never sold to third parties. Resume and application data are used solely to power your own applications. After account cancellation, your data remains accessible for 30 days, after which it is archived. You may request a full export at any time via Account Settings. 9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, HireAstra shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. In no event shall HireAstra’s total liability to any user exceed the amount paid by that user in the three (3) months preceding the claim.

10. Intellectual Property

All technology, design, trademarks, and content comprising the HireAstra Platform are the intellectual property of HireAstra and its licensors. Your resume, profile data, and application materials remain your intellectual property. By uploading them, you grant HireAstra a limited, non-exclusive licence to process this content solely for the purpose of delivering the service to you.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless HireAstra, its founders, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses arising from your use of the Platform in violation of these Terms, any false information you provide, or any application that results in legal or regulatory action.

12. Dispute Resolution

Disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with the laws of [Jurisdiction — Canada / USA, to be confirmed by lawyer]. Users waive any right to participate in class action proceedings.

13. Governing Law

14. Changes to These Terms

HireAstra reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Users will be notified of material changes via email and prompted to re-accept on next login. Continued use after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
